Our recent visit to the newly established Desnudo Naturist Resort left us enchanted and eager to share our experience. Introduced to the resort by SANNA Chairman, Christo, who praised the venue's potential, we were welcomed by the ambitious and hospitable brothers, Jacques and Charl, owners of this promising property.
Located conveniently off the main road between Lanseria Airport and Hartbeespoort, Desnudo Naturist Resort is surrounded by noteworthy attractions such as Lesedi Cultural Village, Hot Air Balloon venues, the Lion & Safari Park, the Harties Cableway, and many more attractions.
Upon entering through the reserve gates, we navigated down well-maintained cemented tracks to the property's gate, where Jacques and Charl greeted us warmly. They guided us through the impressive venue, showcasing a stunning river with captivating rapids and picturesque lawns. The property, formerly a wedding venue, boasts a spacious dance/banquet hall, a pub, and an inviting lounge area overlooking the breathtaking scenery.
In addition to the existing facilities, Desnudo is in the process of constructing a large new swimming pool near the planned camping area (Healing), and there are future plans for luxury safari tents (Gratitude).
Day Visitors are warmly welcomed at R360.00 per couple or R200.00 per single, and SANNA members enjoy a 10% discount. Desnudo offers a monthly membership at R600 with exclusive benefits.
Looking ahead, Desnudo has exciting plans, including offerings like Yoga, Guided Meditation, a Spa, a Restaurant, and a Bar. The resort is set to open its doors on March 1, 2024.
